Lightning Soccer Skills Camp 2008
Portage Soccer Club offers Free Camp for Youngsters
Boys and girls ages 5-9 are eligible to participate in a free soccer camp offered by the Portage Soccer Club. Parents may register children in one of the two sessions below by calling Mark Murry (324-7947) or email him at murrymark999@yahoo.com. Registration is necessary to participate. The camp has been planned and designed by Mark Murry (Director of Coaches) and Blake Glass (Director of Technical Development).
During this camp, players will develop their soccer skills through fun activities which will improve their dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control and defending. Besides the enjoyable individual and group practices, players will be able to put their skills to work in small sided scrimmages.
The camp is designed for AYSO players U-6 through U-10 and will be conducted by coaches and members of the Portage Soccer Club. The goal is to increase each players skills, prepare them for the upcoming season, have some fun, and help them to be better prepared to perhaps play for PSC Lightning teams in the future. Both sessions will be held on the thick green grass at the Portage Soccer Complex at 4422 Bishop Rd.
