Portage Soccer Club greatly appreciates the gift of your time & dedication to our youth and the game of soccer. In order for our coaches to give the time and energy needed to help develop the players, we need Managers to assist them in the administrative aspects of the team. That’s where you come in. A good team manager works hand and hand with the coaching staff to ensure a smooth running operation. This frees the coaches up to provide more quality training and development. It gives parents another avenue for information which can sometimes otherwise take time away from a coach who could be working with the kids.
Communication is a key element to this essential position. As a Team manager you will be communicating with the coaching staff, parents, referees and other team managers. To better assist you with your duties we have provided an updated Managers handbook. This will explain in detail your role with GotSoccer, Uniform ordering, collection of monies, verification and payment of referees, parent volunteerism and everything associated with tournament scheduling.
