SPRING 2012 PRACTICE FIELD SCHEDULES

The PSC Facilities Committee reserves the right to move teams based on turf conditions.
Otherwise, teams are asked to practice on the field they're assigned to even out the wear. If we wear out
the grass in front of the goals, it won't come back unless we take that area out of service for 18 months.

Last summer, the large goal areas for fields 4N and 5N were seeded, so we'll continue to use those halves of those fields with smaller goals further in front to give the grass a chance to put down deeper roots before exposing it to the heavy use of a full field goal area. A north-south stripe on field 2 was seeded fall 2010, and to help that grass become established, we'll keep the use of Field 2 to a minimum. Reseeding on field 1 in 2009 is slowly thickening due to summer droughts so we'll continue to restrict use of Field 1 to the southeast area that's being used as a U10 field.

If you want to change your team's field assignment or time, it's important that you email nbjansen@gmail.com with your request so we can notify facilities volunteers who cut grass and do other maintenance (there could be other work done that might restrict access at times). Without proper notification, the field planned to use may be out of service, or you may not be able to get into the area. Facilities workers use the schedule on this web page.
