The team manager is responsible for calling the referee assigned to each home game a couple days before each game to confirm date, time and place. The referee's schedule does not show the correct field, so please look up and tell the referee what field your game is on. It's a good idea to call the visiting team's manager or coach too. Every year there are cases of not everyone being on the same schedule, and you can save the hassle and confusion of being at a field without a referee or opponent by taking the time to make these phone calls. After confirmation with you, the referee will then call his/her assistant referees. The referee schedule is available on-line at the West Michigan Soccer Referee Association (WMSRA) web site, which uses a four-character identifier for each referee. After you find the code for your game, look up the name and phone number for your referee, and make the call.

If you rescheduled a game and need a referee, look up referees sorted by community, since many referees appreciate having a shorter drive to their assignments. The community codes are: 0-Kalamazoo, 1-Portage, 2-Sting/Sturgis, 3-River Oaks, 4-Battle Creek/Marshall, 5-Mattawan, 7-Force.
