Director’s Academy (DA)

Portage Soccer Club is excited to be part of Director’s Academy (DA) for the 2026-2027 season.

The Director’s Academy (DA) is a statewide initiative of the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association, designed for clubs that meet specific standards outlined in the DA application process. Targeting the U11 and U12 age groups, the program emphasizes player, team, and club development through a strong foundation in coaching education. New to the 2026-2027 season, MSYSA will be introducing a regional-based DA for U10 teams in 7v7 and 9v9.

We have proudly participated in the Director’s Academy since 2015, consistently competing at a high level while providing one of Michigan’s premier development platforms for U11 and U12 players.

Our DA teams train throughout the fall, winter, and spring seasons, with a minimum of two training sessions per week during the fall and spring.

Registration

All families must finalize registration through GotSport before the upcoming season begins.

This process will:

  • Confirm your family's contact information

  • Set up your preferred payment method

  • Complete all required liability waivers

Both registrations must be finished to ensure your player can be rostered and cleared for play.
