West Michigan Youth Soccer Association (WMYSA)

The West Michigan Youth Soccer Association (WMYSA) is a nonprofit organization established in 1983 that provides competitive soccer opportunities for youth ages U8–U19 in Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana. As a member of MSYSA and US Youth Soccer, it features Select and Premier leagues with fall and spring seasons.

Key Aspects of WMYSA:

  • Programs: Offers Select/Premier leagues, U8 Academy, and TOPSoccer.

  • Competition: Focuses on regional, high-caliber play, with games typically on weekends.

  • Tryouts: Holds annual tryouts in June for teams, managed through member clubs.

  • Area Served: Primarily Southwest Michigan, with travel typically ranging from five minutes to one and a half hours.

  • Governance: Affiliated with Michigan State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA)

Registration

All families must finalize registration through GotSport before the upcoming season begins.

This process will:

  • Confirm your family's contact information

  • Set up your preferred payment method

  • Complete all required liability waivers

Both registrations must be finished to ensure your player can be rostered and cleared for play.

Upon accepting a position, your Portage SC team $200 commitment fee is also due via the buttons/links below.

    All player fees must be paid in full or a payment plan must be set up by August 1, 2026 of the seasonal year to be eligible to play/practice with your Portage SC team. All player fees must be complete by December 2026 for all full year and half year (spring/fall) teams.
