Lindsay Tarpley Soccer
2-Day Summer Training Camp
July 29th & 30th, 2019
This summer the Portage Soccer Club will host two-time Olympic gold medal winner Lindsay Tarpley for a two-day girls and boys training camp, Monday, July 29th and Tuesday, July 30th. The camp will run from 9am-12pm each morning at the Portage Soccer Complex for players in the U6-U12 age range, born in the years 2007 to 2013.
Tarpley earned 125 caps for the U.S. Women's National Team from 2003-2011 and scored 32 goals, putting her among the top-15 all-time goal scorers in U.S. history. Lindsay was voted ESPN RISE Player of the Decade (2000’s) for her extraordinary successes throughout high school, college and her youth national teams and in college was voted 2003 National Player of the Year. The former Portage Central High School star and Portage Soccer Club alumna made her first national team when she was 13 years old. She's thrilled to be back again this summer with players from Portage Soccer Club and the local community.
The camp, open to U6-U12 players of all skill levels born in the years 2007 to 2013, will consist of a two-day training experience with personal attention from Lindsay. Each session will include a warm-up, technical skill work, a small-sided scrimmage and a talk at the end where Lindsay will address important elements that she believes helped her have sustained success at the highest level and win 2-Olympic Gold Medals.
Camp fees include daily 3-hour training sessions with Tarpley at the Portage Soccer Complex on July 29th & 30th. Cost for the training camp is $85. Please register using the PayPal forms below.
